A recently finished f3 project has modeled accumulated environmental impacts of Swedish biofuel production and consumption in order to understand how to report and quantify aggregated impacts from the biofuel sector from domestic consumption, production and imports/exports of biofuels. The project has included the development of a database of Imports-Consumption of Fuels and Raw Materials, and an LCA Model for Inputs-Consumption of Biofuels in Sweden and has been performed by IVL with project leader Michael Martin. A manuscript for an article in a scientific journal has been submitted. However, an extended summary of the project is already available here.
