f3 project presented at Biogas Norr networking meeting

On November 10th, Anna-Karin Jannasch and Karin Willquist from SP were invited to present the ongoing f3 project Electrofuels from biological processes – A knowledge synthesis at Biogas Region's networking meeting of Biogas Norr in Piteå. The project tries to answer questions of how power-to-gas and electrofuels produced from biological processes can be used to

increase capacity of existing and new biogas plants,contribute with energy storage, andcompare biological and thermochemical routes.

The project is an inventory of technology developers/providers and a knowledge synthesis of related technologies/processes and the presentation at the meeting (available here, in Swedish) attracted approximately 50 persons, from politicians to biogas producers and other stake-holders.

The project will finish early 2017 and results will then be available through the f3 website.
